» CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character NAME: the End
Character PULL-POINT: Same as Vitali.
Character AGE: Same age as Vitali’s world (read: old as dirt)
Character ABILITIES:
When the End was sealed inside Vitali it started corrupting his magic first (the closest thing to what the End is, is the energy of magic) so, the majority of its abilities are magic based.
• The End has its own set of magic which manifests as thick black smoke. It can physically affect things as if the smoke were solid. Is generally used for picking up and throwing/crushing things or for cutting. It tends to favor smoke blades and small voids. Vitali can use it but usually doesn’t as it works differently from his own and is difficult to control. A side effect of the End’s magic on a target is gradual memory loss and the deadening of limbs.
• The End can and will take over Vitali’s body under extreme circumstances out of self-preservation (when he’s in mortal danger or is badly wounded). On rarer occasions it will do so in order to talk to people. When it does this Vitali becomes wreathed in smoke and looks to be dissolving into it in places. Vitali remembers these moments as blacked out splotches in his memory.
• On that note, should Vitali become badly wounded the End will take over his body, find somewhere secluded, and force Vitali into a coma in order to heal him.
• It can sense living things (Vitali can too if he concentrates on the input the End gets).
Character HISTORY:
The End came into existence shortly after it’s world was created. It was made to be a sort of security system and would “reset” the world should it become too damaged or the population too large for it to sustain. It runs in cycles and sort of wipes the earth clean at the end of every cycle. It goes comatose once this cycle has been fulfilled.
It had just recently started clearing the world for renewal when the humans noticed it and sealed it inside one of their own. It suddenly found itself mortal and terribly vulnerable. Since it is a being driven only by what it was made for, it continued on its mission, defending itself as necessary though its mortal shell did some of that for it. Eventually said shell became too damaged and the End was forced to take it somewhere where to heal it. It took the End about 90 years to figure out how to do this correctly.
Character PERSONALITY:
The End’s one and only desire is to carry out the end of living things. That’s what it was made to do and is the only thing it knows. It doesn’t really care to know anything else. Why would it want to? All things end eventually and will fade. Sentimental feelings mean nothing to it and may as well be some incomprehensible language.
Since having been sealed inside Vitali, it has acquired the drive to keep itself alive once it realized that its life was tied to Vitali’s. If Vitali dies, it dies and that is unacceptable. Once it dies it is literally the end of the world (Vitali’s world) and it refuses to let that happen. Its world would lose and integral part of itself and will slowly degrade until there is nothing left (the End is like a sort of program that defragments a computer, scans and deletes dangerous or potentially harmful programs, then sleeps till it’s needed again).
Due to this fact and the limits Vitali’s mortal body place on it, the End thinks of Vitali as a sort of prison(a small, squishy, irritatingly fragile prison that really doesn’t want the End there at all). The End views pretty much every living thing this way. It generally ignores what’s going on and pays attention in the vaguest sense. Just enough to make sure Vitali doesn’t get smooshed. It only cares when something pertaining directly to it is going on (and, more recently, when it can learn something as to how humans work).
The End has never had a way to think about itself as a thing or, to really be able to think about anything in general. It was a mindless force of nature suddenly forced into a tiny jar. As such, emotions and words are a new thing it barely understands and, only then from the things it gleans from Vitali’s mind. It barely understands that too. It spent the ninety years Vitali was asleep growing a skewed form of personality. It has learned what emotions feel like and physical sensations. Just not always the words that go with them.
The End does not have a name for itself and wouldn’t be able to come up with one if asked. It refers to itself as It and very rarely as I. It has no concept of gender and doesn’t see why it should. The End speaks in an almost monotone with very little inflection and is blunt. Its sentences are very short, to the point, and it rarely uses contractions (when typing punctuation and capitalization aren’t something it knows). They tend to be rather stilted and awkward. It uses Vitali’s vocabulary and often has to think a bit in order to get the definitions. Very much like translating a foreign language. And, while it does have access to most, if not all, of what Vitali knows It asks questions a lot rather than pulling it up out of Vitali’s m brain.
The End is nether hostile nor friendly, it simply is. That is, unless an attempt is made on Vitali’s life. Then it does its best to punt the threat through a wall.
» EXSILIUM INFORMATION
Chosen WEAPON: n/a
Chosen SKILLSET: The End doesn’t have any preference as to where or what it’s doing as long as Vitali is not in mortal danger. That being said, the End is a powerhouse whose abilities cater towards doing lots of damage in a short amount of time.

First PERSON:
[text]
what is this strange device
what are all these symbols for
one does not need so many
it is hardly an efficient way of doing things
living creatures are so strange
I need to get back home
how would one do that here
Third PERSON:
It was…furious. Yes, that is the correct term. These creatures have so many words. So many emotions it’s overwhelming. They are slaves to them. And now It is a slave to them too. Infuriating. This body It has been trapped in; this cage, it is so small! So fragile! How do these creatures do anything? They are so limited.
It supposes It will have more than enough time to get used to Its strange new prison. The body will not…die? Yes. At least, not until it has fulfilled its mission. Though it certainly seems to try its best to achieve that goal. Does not matter. It will attempt to find a way free of this small, frustrating creature. Hopefully such a thing is possible.
